Tpcool I always had a soft spot for the original Revolution soundtrack. These remastered tracks take everything questionable about the original songs and turned them into legitimately fantastic and super-catchy pieces. Perhaps what I appreciate most is that this is all done without taking away from what made the original soundtrack special; they all retain their original melodies, even if they were modified heavily to sound more pleasant. Favorite track: Amped Amp Man [Amp Man Stage].

about

This version of the OST will stay up even after I upload the final version.

This is my total remake from the ground up of my original Mega Man Revolution OST I made back in 2011, all the while trying to respect the original compositions as much as possible.

This time around it's been done properly in Famitracker with the Namco 163 and Sunsoft 5B expansion chips. There are 7 additional tracks included to fill in the gaps that the Remix version created by having new content, as this soundtrack is slated to be put in Remix. The primary goal of this originally was to redo it in VRC6, but I wanted a little more control over the instrumentation, so I opted to switch to N163, but still only use 3 additional channels while maintaining the instruments being simplistic like an NES would produce.

One day I realized my farts are in the key signature of b minor, because of how people always want to cry because of them, so I was a natural at making music about suffering.
